How do I copy files, music and video between my Pantech Crossover and PC?
You can synchronize music files between your phone and PC:
- Make sure you have inserted a microSD card on your phone.
- Make sure your phone is not in USB debugging mode. Press the Menu key from the Home screen and tap Settings > Application > Development > USB debugging to turn it off. Make sure it is not highlighted.
- Connect your phone to PC using the data cable.
- When your phone is connected to the PC, a pop-up menu will appear. Select Media Transfer.
- Tap Turn on MTP connection to mount your microSD card on the phone. Tap OK.
- Open Windows Media Player on your PC.
- From the menu bar, select Sync tab > More Options > Device. Select "Pantech P8000" from the list.
- Move files to transfer onto "Sync List" and click "Start Sync" to begin syncing with your microSD card.
You can copy any files between your phone and PC:
- Make sure you have inserted a microSD card on your phone.
- Connect your phone to PC using the data cable.
- If your phone is in USB debugging mode, tap and drag down the status bar on the top of your phone screen and tap USB Connected.
- If your phone is not in USB debugging mode, select USB Mass Storage from the pop-up menu that appers on your phone screen.
- Tap Turn on USB storage button to mount your microSD card on the phone. Tap OK.
- On your PC, go to My Computer and open the removable disk drive, where you will see a list of files same as in your microSD card. Open the folders and make desired changes.
[Note] In a mass storage mode, a few applications - Handy Memo, Voice Memo, Sketch Pad, Music Player, Camera, Camcorder, Document Viewer - that need the microSC card will not run.
