How do I copy files, music and video between my Pantech Crossover and PC?

You can synchronize music files between your phone and PC:

  1. Make sure you have inserted a microSD card on your phone. 
  2. Make sure your phone is not in USB debugging mode. Press the Menu key from the Home screen and tap Settings > Application > Development > USB debugging to turn it off. Make sure it is not highlighted. 
  3. Connect your phone to PC using the data cable.
  4. When your phone is connected to the PC, a pop-up menu will appear. Select Media Transfer.
  5. Tap Turn on MTP connection to mount your microSD card on the phone. Tap OK. 
  6. Open Windows Media Player on your PC. 
  7. From the menu bar, select Sync tab > More Options > Device. Select "Pantech P8000" from the list. 
  8. Move files to transfer onto "Sync List" and click "Start Sync" to begin syncing with your microSD card. 

You can copy any files between your phone and PC:

  1. Make sure you have inserted a microSD card on your phone. 
  2. Connect your phone to PC using the data cable. 
  3. If your phone is in USB debugging mode, tap and drag down the status bar on the top of your phone screen and tap USB Connected. 
  4. If your phone is not in USB debugging mode, select USB Mass Storage from the pop-up menu that appers on your phone screen. 
  5. Tap Turn on USB storage button to mount your microSD card on the phone. Tap OK. 
  6. On your PC, go to My Computer and open the removable disk drive, where you will see a list of files same as in your microSD card. Open the folders and make desired changes.

[Note] In a mass storage mode, a few applications - Handy Memo, Voice Memo, Sketch Pad, Music Player, Camera, Camcorder, Document Viewer - that need the microSC card will not run.
