You can only activate the speakerphone during a call. Simply Press the key activate the speakerphone. To turn it off, simply press the key again.

Press and hold the asterisks (*) key. To turn vibrate off simply press and hold the asterisks (*) key again.
How do I start a text message quickly?

Why am I missing my calls when my phone is in my pocket or purse when my volume is all the way up?
With the phone closed the volume button has no effect on the volume functionality. It only turns on the external clock for viewing of the time. However, if you receive a call while the phone is closed and the volume button is pressed by you, your keys or some other item in your pocket or purse it will end the call and sends it straight to voice mail. This feature is so that you may be able to silence the call if you?re in a meeting or can?t talk to someone right then, for example if you were driving. The incoming caller can then leave a message or hang up. If they hang up and don?t leave a message then it will show you missed a call. This feature can not be turned off.

How do I assign a contact to Speed Dial?

You can assign up to 9 speed dial number for 2 through 9 on the keypad.
Number 1 is setup for you to quick dial your voicemail.

You can store up to 1000 contacts in your phone memory.

How many text messages and pictures can I save?
This all depends on the amount of games, ring tones the quantity & quality of pictures, video & text message sizes that you want to as well as how much memory you have available and how you manage the memory. When memory gets low you will have to delete some saved items.
How do I take a picture and save it?
Camera function is only available when the phone is open. Once open press the camera button on the right side (outside) of the phone. The camera is now active. To take pictures simply press the key. The picture will be automatically saved to your Album.

Video function is only available when the phone is open. Once open press the camera button on the right side (outside) of the phone. The camera is now active. In order to put the phone in video mode press the upper left key (Options) > press the 4 key. You are now in video mode. To take a video simply press the key to start. Press it again to stop recording. The video will be automatically saved to your Album.

Can I check the time on my phone without opening the phone?

It does, the factory default is for it to show local time wherever you are.
