What is Voice Privacy?
Turning this on will put the voice into an enhanced encryption or high security during a call.



What is the Battery Usage time?
The battery consumption is dependent on the distance you are from the cell base station. The farther you are the more power is consumed. The Talk time is rated at about 207 minutes for standard battery and Standby time is rated at about 190 hours under certain circumstances, respectively. Battery performance will deteriorate over time.



How do I recharge the Lithium-Ion battery?
First, installed the battery on the handset, and then plug the charging adapter to the handset and the wall socket. The Li-Ion battery can be charged at anytime without discharging. As a rule of thumb, it is not recommended to have to battery drained to zero charge. Charge the battery as soon as the handset detects "low battery".



How do I turn on the Speaker phone?
Press and hold the CLR button until the speaker phone is activated. To revert back to ear piece, do the same.



What is Mute/Unmute?
Mute is turning off the microphone and is optional during a call. Press the [Menu] Soft Key and select [Mute]. To enable the microphone, press the [Unmute] Soft Key.



Can I make an Emergency Call when my phone is locked?
Whether the phone is in locked mode or not, the emergency number 911 will work with any available system in the area. The phone will provide the global positioning coordinates to the emergency response system.



What is T9 Word?
The T9 Word mode allows the word to be entered by the keypad without choosing the exact letter in the key. The phone internal dictionary will predict the word as each letter is entered. When all the letters are entered, the word entered should match your preference. If not, press the "0" key to select one of other choices, and then press the "#" key to enter a space and continue.



How do I enter a symbol?
Press the "1" key until the symbol you desire appear or press the Right Soft Key until the Symbol mode appears with a list of symbols displayed. Select the symbol using the navigation key and press OK.



How do I send a message to a group of people?
Use "MSG Group" function for sending a text or photo message to multiple recipients at a time.



Why is my phone beeping every minute?
The ALERT setting on the phone might have been turned on. It is a feature that notifies the caller a minute time has elapsed. Turn it off to remove the beeping alert.



What is ETIQUETTE?
It also means silent mode or vibration mode.



Can I customize the display?
Yes, it can be customized with different graphics for Wallpaper, Power ON, Power OFF, Received, Dialed and Screen Saver. Go to Settings > Display > Graphics.



Can I personalize the greetings?
Yes, go to Settings > Display > Greeting Message.



What are other options for the display?
Display also has option for contrast and backlight. LCD backlight can be set for 5, 15, 30, or 60 seconds or Always On. Key pad LED can be set for 5, 15, 30, or 60 seconds, Always ON, or Always OFF.



What is "RESTRICTIONS"?
This function can be used to block access to Dialed Calls, Recent Calls, Camera, Data Calls, 900#, and Long Distance.



What is "SPECIAL #"?
This function stores three phone numbers that can be called even if the phone is in the lock mode.



What is "SET MODE"?
This function allows the phone to be in a different system. The options are Automatic A, Automatic B, or Home Only. This choice is preset for best reception of where you are at, so it's not necessary to change. "Home Only" is useful when you want to set your phone not to roam outside your network area.



What is NAM SETTING?
This function allows the phone to change to a different number when there are multiple registrations. Normally, each phone is registered with one carrier and one number; however, the phone is capable of registering with two numbers. Check with your carrier provider for this service.



What is the resolution on the camera?
The High resolution is 640 x 480 pixels; the Medium is 320 x 240 pixels; and the Low is 160 x 120 pixels.



What is the difference between Voice Memo and Voice Dial?
Voice Memo can record a reminder message for up to 60 seconds, while Voice Dial record a voice tag that associates with a contact in the phonebook. When a voice tag is linked with a contact, you can call by using your voice.
